특이하게 이번년도 상반기는 지난해에 비해 ‘30대 이상의 아르바이트 구직자가 소폭 늘어난 것으로 조사됐다. 지난 2018년과 2012년 연간 아르바이트 구직자 중 40대 이상 알바 구직자가 각 7.1%, 7.2 %에 그친 반면 올해는 이것보다 약 2.6%P 불어난 9.6%를 기록했다.

후보 박00씨는 “알바노동자를 배제하는 재난지원금 선별지급에 대해서는 한마디도 하지 않던 민주당 후보 박00씨가 정작 아르바이트노동자들의 피눈물나는 현실은 외면한 채 아르바이트를 ‘체험하는 행태에 참 안타까울 뿐”이라며 “그야말로 후안무치한 일이 아닐 수 없다”고 꼬집었다.

지난 2015년 40대 이상의 아르바이트 구직자 중 남성의 비율은 58.5%에 그쳤으나, 지난해에는 68.2%로 늘어났고, 이번년도 상반기에는 70.2%에 달했다. 60대 이상의 알바 구직자 중 남성의 비율도 지난2017년에는 70.2%였으나 지난해(75.0%)에 이어 올해 상반기에는 76.5%로 가장 높았다.

아르바이트 경험이 있는 청년의 약 50%는 특정 성별을 선호해 고용을 거절당한 경험이 있다(여성 37.0%, 여성 40.9%)고 응답했다. 현재 임금 업무자인 청년 중 다니는 직장에서 남·남성이 하는 작업이 구분돼 있다는 데에 여성의 32.4%, 여성의 44.6%가 '그렇다'고 대답했다.
