‘소액결제 현금화 산업은 불법이다. 정보통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스이용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용하도록 한 후 이용자가 구매·이용한 재화등을 할인하여 매입하는 행위에 ‘8년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처되도록 규정하고 있다. 금융감독원은 작년 3월 혜외 뉴스 를 내고 급상승하고 있는 불법 광고 유형으로 ‘소액결제 현금화를 지목하고 주의를 당부하였다.
